Permaculture cherche à utiliser One Field Fallow comme un lieu de rencontre pour nos voisins·es. Par l'art et le jeu, nous voulons apprendre ensemble comment imaginer et mettre en pratique un meilleur quartier.

Pendant toute une année - débutant en automne jusqu'à l'été - Permaculture travaillera avec un groupe d'habitants·es du quartier fixe. Ensemble, nous nous pencherons sur un thème qui laisse ses "traces" sur le quartier. Nous testerons comment nous pouvons nous-mêmes influencer ces traces par des interventions (artistiques) dans l'espace public.

Cette année, Permaculture travaillera avec des enfants âgés de 10 à 16 ans, en privilégiant les filles et les enfants trans. Les activités commencent en janvier. Une activité par mois le mercredi après-midi, en néerlandais, français et anglais.

Permaculture seeks to use One Field Fallow as a meeting and learning place for our neighbours. Through art and play, we want to learn together how we can imagine and practise a better neighbourhood.

Every year, from autumn to summer, Permaculture works together with one group of inhabitants from the neighbourhood. Together, we will delve into a theme that leaves 'traces' on the inhabitants' daily living environment. We will test how we can influence those traces ourselves through (artistic) interventions in the public space.

This year Permaculture will work with kids between 10 and 16 years old, prioritising girls and trans kids. Activities start in January. We meet once a month on Wednesday afternoons. We speak in Dutch, French and English.

Permaculture organise un camp d'été pour enfants de 6 à 13 ans. Pendant trois jours, nous explorerons de différentes manières créatives comment mieux accueillir les animaux dans notre quartier.

Au programme ?

Les animaux ne trouvent souvent pas leur place en ville ou sont considérés comme des nuisibles. Nous aimerions approcher la relation entre les gens et les autres animaux dans la ville différement.
Pendant le camp d'été, nous voulons créer plus d'espace pour les animaux qui vivent déjà dans notre ville, en bricolant à nos rues d'une manière qui tienne compte de la nature. Nous laisserons aussi libre cours à notre imagination : à quoi pourrait ressembler notre quartier si les animaux y avaient le dessus ? Nous rejoindrons des artistes pour bricoler, construire, faire de l'IA et du stop motion dans le quartier de la Liberté.

Infos pratiques !

- Le camp d'été est gratuit
- Nous parlons indifféremment le néerlandais, le français et l'anglais
- Nous limitons les inscriptions à un maximum de 20 enfants
- Nous donnons la priorité aux enfants du quartier de la Liberté
- Il est possible de participer à un, deux ou trois jours, mais nous donnons la priorité aux enfants qui participent aux trois jours
- Le camp offre un équilibre entre le jeu, le bricolage et l'art
- Nous fournissons le déjeuner et quelque chose à grignoter
- Il n'est pas possible de passer la nuit sur place

Permaculture wil One Field Fallow gebruiken als een ontmoetings- en leerplek voor onze buren. Door middel van kunst en spel willen we samen leren hoe we een betere buurt kunnen verbeelden en in praktijk brengen.

Elk jaar, vanaf de herfst tot de zomer, werkt Permacultuur samen met één groep bewoners uit de buurt. Samen verdiepen we ons in een thema dat 'sporen' nalaat in de dagelijkse leefomgeving van de bewoners. We testen hoe we die sporen zelf kunnen beïnvloeden door (artistieke) interventies in de openbare ruimte.

Dit jaar werkte Permaculture werken met kinderen tussen de 10 en 16 jaar oud, met voorrang voor meisjes en transkinderen. De activiteiten beginnen in januari. We komen één keer per maand samen op woensdagnamiddag. We spreken Nederlands, Frans en Engels.

Permaculture organiseert een zomerkamp voor kinderen tussen 6 en 13 jaar. Drie dagen lang verkennen we via allerlei creatieve manieren hoe we dieren beter kunnen verwelkomen in onze wijk.

Op het programma?

Dieren vinden vaak in de stad geen plek of worden als ongedierte gezien. Wij willen de relatie tussen mensen en andere dieren in de stad graag anders.
Wij willen tijdens het zomerkamp meer ruimte creëren voor dieren die al in onze stad wonen, door op een natuurinclusieve manier aan onze straten te knutselen. Bovendien laten we onze verbeelding de vrije loop: hoe zou onze wijk eruit kunnen zien als dieren er de bovenhand hebben? We gaan samen met kunstenaars aan de slag met knutselen, bouwen, AI en stop motion in de Vrijheidswijk.

Praktische info!

- Het zomerkamp is gratis
- We spreken Nederlands, Frans en Engels door elkaar
- We beperken de inschrijvingen tot maximaal 20 kinderen
- We geven voorrang aan kinderen uit de Vrijheidswijk
- Het is mogelijk om aan één, twee of drie dagen deel te nemen, maar we geven voorrang aan kinderen die drie dagen deelnemen
- Het kamp voorziet een balans tussen spelen, knutselen en kunst
- We voorzien lunch en vieruurtje
- Overnachten is niet mogelijk

Permaculture organises a summer camp for children aged 6 to 13. For three days, we will explore through a variety of creative ways how to better welcome animals to our neighbourhood.

On the programme?

Animals often find no place in the city or are seen as unwelcome. We would like to see the relationship between people and other animals in the city differently.
We want to create more space for animals already living in our city during the summer camp by tinkering with our streets in a nature-inclusive way. Moreover, we will let our imagination run wild: what could our neighbourhood look like if animals had the upper hand there? We will join artists in tinkering, building, AI and stop motion in the quartier de la Liberté.

- The summer camp is free of charge
- We speak Dutch, French and English interchangeably
- We limit registrations to a maximum of 20 children
- We give priority to children from the quartier de la Liberté
- It is possible to participate in one, two or three days, but we give priority to children who participate for three days
- The camp provides a balance of play, crafts and art
- We provide lunch and snacks
- It is not possible to stay overnight
